All we want from this is a Club on a sound financial footing, ideally competitive, with reserves to adequately fund a title challenge and maintain and progress our amazing youth set up.(imo)

I wouldn't be surprised to see quite a few days without any story at all, especially if there's nothing they can recycle from another site and especially in the off season.

The option of just giving a bye to every team due to play us isn't one that's possible because of the Summer Bash. I would think they would have to promote a team into our place, and then the Championship 1 teams due to play that side would instead get a bye that week (since they have no stupid and unfair "extra" fixture thrown in). Whitehaven would be the most logical team as the highest placing team overall from last season, currently in Champ 1. If they promoted any other team instead, it would show favouritism.

Not sure the 'bash' would make any difference, tbh, the Bash itself is anti fairness in all ways possible, so just giving KR the points seems little different.

AM i correct in saying they have 30 days to reject the transfer over to another owner?

I think that ethically speaking you are supposed to try and display contempt for your fans and team-mates by not telling them you are jumping ship, and leaving them to find out at the airport before you play Catalan. That's how I'd do it anyway.

It is something like that, though I confess it's quite few years since I went through this system personally, so the details have become a little sketchy and may well have changed.

I thought the same, but perhaps it extends longer than just the period of time TUPE covers? Otherwise as you say, it's a largely irrelevant thing to say as if they're transferring to a newco, they can leave if they want to anyway.
