Of course you did.

I'm not sure where the concept of childishness relates to the obvious (but not to you) point that to buy a business you need have no clue whatsoever how to run it.

...Going back to your exon mobil example, do you think anyone other than Koukash is calling the shots at Salford.
Impossible to answer to a question posed in slang. "Calling the shots"? Calling WHICH shots?
Team selection? No, certainly he is not selecting the team.
Substitutions? No, he does not decide the replacements.
These would seem to be the most relevant shots in context of a rugby league team.

...do you think the marketing guys came up with Salfords away kit that matches koukash's racing colours?
What an odd "point". Obviously the racing colours were already his, and obviously he decided to use them as an away kit to tie in the club to his horse racing interests. What relevance would it have whether or not "his marketing guys" came up with it? The point you miss is he HAS marketing guys. I doubt he's the sort of guy to own a dog and bark himself, equally I'm sure that his marketing guys may advise but that he would take the final decision. So, for example,m if his marketing guys made a strong enough case for X, then i expect Koukash would be persuaded to do X, instead of Y. Do you find that strange in some way?

...did they also come up with a mascot that happens to look like a red faced koukash?
I would bet they did, yes. But maybe he has skills as a graphic designer that we have never been told of.
the flying biscuit wrote:
...did the management team sack Phil Veivers?
Another odd question. If you are suggesting that Koukash one day walked in and announced he was sacking Veivers, absent any discussion with Farish or anyone, then I would say that is highly improbable.
the flying biscuit wrote:
...Do you think Brian Noble would have any say in which marquee player they would buy?
Knowing him, yes, I'm damn sure he would have a very big say. Also that whatever he is, (and unlike many, I am a Koukash fan) Koukash is no fool and the thought he would sign a marguee player off his own bat without Noble's input is the most risible thing you have said.

...so in answer to your question, yes,the Salford Reds is almost a one person operation, he bought it and will run it, he does call the Shots, and if he could, he would rename it Marwaan Koukash Red devils. and you know it.
So it is a one man show, he calls all the shots - but doesn't even get to call the team what you say he wants! Why is that, then? isn't choosing the team name "a shot"? The funny thing is, you don't even get why that's funny.

Rant? You're kidding. But thanks for the kind thoughts.

Ah, you're a mere whippersnapper. OK I'll cut you a bit of slack.
