You see Eddie, your problem is that ten games for you is an unbearable length of time to go without a certain level of onfield success. You were on here sniping twenty minutes into the Hull KR game! This is a club that has been going in one form or another since 1863, longer than the game itself. It's been the Treble Champs and it's been rock bottom of the professional league. It currently is in the doldrums relative to the most successful ten years in its history, but there is a clear strategy for improving matters - youth development and the OSV. Both will take time, and do little to satisfy yourself and those likeminded in the interim. But that doesn't stop them from being the way to go.
Ten games?
Three seasons is a bit more accurate. Three seasons of decline on the playing field. Three seasons of questionable signings and tactics. Three seasons of dwindling crowds, quality, entertainment and, now, expectation levels.
Three seasons of proving that our youth development is the key by letting one of our best young players go out on loan after not giving him a fair crack of the whip and watching him get off to a great start whilst we blunder on from one poor performance after another.
The OSV saga has now been running longer than Coronation Street and, TBH, I am unsure what that has to do with the failings of the coach?
Still, two posts made on here and even YOU have not said anything positive about the coach directly. That kinda says it all.
