Martin Hall has numerous league titles, WOrld Club Challenge & Challenge Cup medals. He was so average it's laughable. Deacon was/is a brilliant kicker when he has space, time & great players around him. Take those away & he is lost. There was a time when I wasn't sure whether I was right, it was while he was warming up for his debut.

You do know that the CCF is not a one-off game like the WCC? Anyway, I give up. You're obviously in the weird minority cult that thinks everything was won despite Deacon, and man never landed on the Moon. I therefore conclude I'd get more sense trying to argue with a deaf mute Abyssinian goatherd.

Since presumably this must be something you have had experience of to be able to raise it as a comparison, I'm sure there must be a fascinating tale to tell there?

I can promise you mate he didn't do it, he told me after the game which I'm sure he would have been confident to tell me he took his head off if he did. Saw it as clear as day he came out of the line and smashed Deacon nothing at all wrong with the tackle as you will find out at the disciplinary this week.

People say in court every day that they didn't do something. Doesn't mean it's right.


Incidentally, I thought it was a fair hit at the time and fully expect him to be let off today. However just because "he said he didn't do it", that doesn't mean jack.

Wasn't speaking to a man that could have done anything about it if he'd of said "i took his head off" then i couldn't do anything about it. It's stupid for him to say anything else but then again he's not stupid he wouldn't say he didn't do it if they find out at the RFL that he did, if you get my point

Hi Shents, good game today. Oh by the way, was that a dodgy tackle you did on Deacon? Or did you think it was ok?

Seems an odd thing to ask him.

I'm going to make a point of asking all our players after games about their tackles from now on.
