Think you're right, leave Deacon out for now, see if Sykes/Jeffries works again. Questionable putting Burgess in SR but with Sol gone we need a good ball handler, I don't think we should start the Worrlord yet as he seems to make an impact off the bench.

only change i'd make to that is swap langley and burgess round. langley is more effective at 2nd row and sam has more freedom at loose. would be tempted to put menzies on bench and start with cook to give menzies a bit of a break. We've been playing him a bit too much given his age and we're just asking for an injury if we keep expecting him to do full 80 minutes.

Depends exactly how fit Deacon is and whether he needs game time or training to get fully fit. Not sure its fair to judge him on form when we know he was hampered by injury.

At least we've got the 2 days extra rest over Wakey this time.

Wakey in the wars too on injury front

May be a bit light in the old Wing department.

After the Jeffries 'knock-on' you are never in a position to criticise another ref. Ever. If that had been correctly disallowed the mood on this board might be far less harmonious.

Tough one to call. If Deacon doesn't play I will be torn between my loyalty for the Bulls & my admiration for john Kear. If Deacon plays I will enjoy Danny Brough give him a lesson in half back play.
Either way I see a 26-18 ish score to the Bulls.

I can accept failure, but I can't accept not trying.

There is the massive rumour that Brough's off to Huddersfield for £100k.
