I can't speak for individuals but as a team we definitely put in 100%

What does that mean? Unless the players put in 17 X 100%, the team didn't. And Worrincy has said pretty clearly that several players didn't. McNamara said some players were "distracted" which whatever it means, certainly means that player did not put in 100%.

I agree (and repeat) that there are some big issues with some of these players. Wish I knew what.

I'm not in favour of 'naming and shaming' particularly - but I do think that if the coaching staff are aware of players who didn't prepare properly, then they should be left out for this week's game.

It's like I argued in an earlier post. Because the whole lot of them can assume that they'll make the 17, there isn't that extra bit of edge. You could argue that professional players should have pride and motivation enough. Maybe so, but it obviously isn't the case if Morrison's comments are to be believed - so a week in the Reserves might act as a shock to the system.

Well Macca is a strict disciplinarian according to some so this won't be a problem for us in the next game

To be fair to McNamara he seems to have stuck by his pledge to stop blaming the officials on a weekly basis like last year.

Then again, this pledge coincided with "Mick Gledhill" becoming rather opinionated on the subject on these forums
