Personally I'd be tempted to give him another contract, I agree with the points being made about different injuries and he recovers fast! TBH it might be his body is no longer up to the impact or it might be pure bad luck, but given his commitment and leadership I think another 12 months is reasonable.

Looks like overall we're facing another major re-organisation of the team and a massive clear out this season.

I am unsure how it could be implied that I was referring to Morrison as a rat in any way shape or form.

I think the point of the saying is that while if you found yourself on a sinking hip you could do your level best to stop it from sinking, those that are 'ratlike' just clear off. So using it about Morrison is inappropriate at best.

Back OT, most of the decisions the Bulls have to make are in the corridor of uncertainty - they nailed the no-brainer with Lynch and now they have to pick their way through a throng of players with big pros and cons attached to them. I hope they get more right than wrong.

Perhaps we have offered him a year, which woulod be reasonable giving his age/injuries, and he wants 2. So he is asking about. Seems fair enough to me.
I would be gutted to see him go, but he won't be cheap and if he is only going to play half a season due to injury, the club have to consider whether its worth it.
