Having a player of the year awards after the season we've had, is a bit like naming a Bulls man of the match after we've just been thrashed by Warrington at home but I guess its tradition.

yes, i agree that having player of the year awards after the season we've had may seem like voting for World's Best Captain while on the Titanic, but there ARE players in the team who should be recognised as actually worthy of praise. Few in number though they be.
