Either you are supporting the team or you are not. Constantly slagging off the team and threatening to leave is just attention seeking rubbish.
Everyone was disapointed but most of us are grown up enough to sulk in private.

I think most of us are past being disapointed and are now right royally vexed off. Same old drivle coming out of the club but with no action...how long can people be expected to put up with it......and dont say true fans stick with it through thck and thin,, times are hard and people will no longer throw thier money in for no return, whilst not expecting wins each week, some effort and a bit of skill wouldnt go a miss.

I did feel bad yesterday and wish I never posted what I said because I'll be at all the games next year again and will no doubt be buying the new home and away shirts.

Mick just remember you were there when the Bulls reached 5 grand finals in a row no other team has done that, you were there when the Bulls were the first team to hold the Challenge Cup, the League Leaders Shield, The Super league trophy and the World championship at the same time and you were there when the Bulls won three world championships from three finals.

No one can ever take that away. This is a temporary blip and if it lasts the rest of your lifetime you were there and that's all that counts.

I have been a Northern supporter/Bulls supporter since the 1950s but have never, never seen such disdain from the people at the top meted out to supporters. Even in the bad old days of Ron Willey and Barry Seabourne, we were given some respect. These days we just get stupid platitudes on the radio and in the press - treating us as if we were idiots. We can all see where the problem lies, anyone with an ounce of Rugby nous knows where it is, but we are impotent and no-one even bothers to give us a sensible explanation. I am sick of being treated like a fool; if we can't afford to sack Mack and get in a coach with the necessary skills then please tell us that that is the case. then we might give the poor guy a bit more of a break. But please stop treating us as if we are silly glory-hunters who don't know anything about Rugby.

I think one of the reasons it all feels a bit flat and people are beginning to have a "take it or leave" it attitude is a combination of the fact that,

1) Blind optimism aside, achieving even a measly 8th position was realistically beyond us some time ago.

and

2) Due to franchising we have been denied the opportunity to panic and peruse the idea of relegation and staring at the trap door to the Championship and all that would entail.

For me a real damn good fight against relegation is just what the doctor ordered. Unfortuanately we have the "Tamiflu" equivalent of a franchise to protect us.

Now, back to my Gin & Tonic.
