The only conclusion is that somebody has turned up with more money than Mandy Koukash. That someone doesn't sound like Lamb who was outbid by 3 blokes with no money. Not sure I share you optimism. Take the following example, Bidder X has £1m - they offer 10% to the administrator and intend to put the other £900k into the club. Bidder Y has £105k - which he offers in full to the administrator, gets the club but has sod all cash left.

Of course we don't know if the K's really would have sunk any serious cash into the Bulls but it's not clear any of the other bidders have much cash at all when set against the amounts the club needs.

I think you're confusing what is happening here with a CVA. There is no CVA, nor will there be.

It's no explanation at all.

He already stands at -250k plus whatever amount he has now bid (of which he will receive the appropriate percentage after costs of the administrator are taken).

The squad are worth nothing and the Coral Stand is worth scrap value unless if there is no club/team to play in front to of it. If Green's bought it, he's bought it to run it.

Hoping its the latter but the 1st option could work if bring in someone with money (Koukash) or just sell the club on and recoup his money owed.

A new owner walking away would spell the end

Well who knows what's going to happen now. I would love to know who's backing Lamb and what money he's got to put in. If it's Bennett or Hood then it's goodnight from me.

The missing bidder I was wondering about was Park Avenue. Did they withdraw? If they're still in it we might yet end up with Jay Willey and Bob Blackburn.

Either way I'm not optimistic about our future. It's looking increasingly like we're intending to accept relegation to me.

As for Cougar Park and The Shay, given the glee displayed by some of the supporters of those 2 clubs I won't be going there in a hurry.

Glad I kept the NRL subscription on Premier.

But sell WHICH players? Can you see the queue of players now, waiting to sign their new contracts to be TUPE'd over to such an organisation, so that they can become expensive commodities as opposed to being immediate free agents if they say no thanks?

Bust then, in a slowmotion sort of way. Probably no point in bothering with going to anymore matches this year if we have a new owner without enough money to take over the club and strengthen the team, relegation will be a certainty.

See you in the Championship next year, unless Hood and Bennett are involved again then I'll be joing Ridlerbull at Bramley.

I don't want Hood either but why would anyone bid to accept relegation. The only way of saving the initial purchase sum is if the club stay in Super League. The only thing that makes any sense here is the £1.5 million that arrives next year.

A squad of 20 losing every week with the tacit acceptance of relegation would play to miniscule crowds. Simply keeping a skeleton staff and ground open would lose a fortune.

It doesn't make any sense at all.

Maybe not knowing who the winner is is a good thing, Koukash was going on and on about money to strengthen the club and pay creditors (assuming this by querying points deduction) - so maybe the winner has potentially more money to do both and hopefully invest in players for the current season,

If this seasons squad is not strengthened then its possibly curtains for super league
