What £1.5m?

We know that the fair and standard penalty for going into admin includes being on half money for 2 years. It must be, as that's what happened to OKB. And everybody told us we weren't being singled out.

So whoever buys the club, will have to agree to half money for 2 years starting now.

Won't they?

If not, WHY not? I mean, if that's the normal price to be paid?

A squad of 20 losing every week with the tacit acceptance of relegation would play to miniscule crowds. Simply keeping a skeleton staff and ground open would lose a fortune.

I agree, but staying up would require a major cash injection to bring in players to strengthen a squad which is now the smallest in the league I reckon. I don't think any of the other bidders have that kind of money so I fear there may be a pretense to avoid relegation while in actual fact the new owners will be accepting it's almost certain and planning for the consequences. Meanwhile fans will be sold a pup.

Looks like Green to me.

Adey would correct me but isnt the pecking order :-

Administrator fees & expenses
Mortgage Charge Holders
Secured Creditors
Unsecured Crreditors.

If so - Lets assume fees are £50k - So he bids £300k which is the highest bid.

Then the admin receives his loot & repays the Charge holder who is ........................Green.

All clever stuff isnt it as Green now ends up with the club for his initial £175 k investment & admin fees.

What does he know about running a RL club?

I don't think so, Gaskell is a great replacement for sammut, its at least 3 props we need (including mullaly on a season loan). God knows where we will get them from though that's another matter.

Going purely on what Koukash says and how wealthy he is, why wont he pay out the most to the creditors?
It seems small potatoes in comparison to what he's going to have to cough up to sort out the team etc and all these marquee signings and £200k golden tickets he plans to buy off all us smaller clubs?

I wonder if pie.warrior has it nailed and the RFL 'couldn't' give it to Mandy K because that would mean they lost control and so other reasons have been found. This is all speculation you understand.
