If it is Green and he wants his estimated £250k back all Mrs K has to do is buy the club off him for £250K. If she can’t afford that she clearly doesn’t have the money we all thought she had. I can’t remember him saying they would pay the creditors. Just because he has money doesn’t mean he wants to part with it. He might have been playing games thinking he would get us for next to nothing. I was as thrilled as anyone when the Koukash family got involved but I now have doubts about what they were actually willing to invest. Their offer must have fallen short in the cash injection stakes.
My concern with Lamb is that he was openly talking about accepting the points deductions and re-building from the championship. Do his plans include expected relegation? This would suite the RFL as we would get our punishment in the eyes of the other clubs and one less expansion club is in danger of being relegated.
I now fear we are being lined up for relegation to deal with us once and for all. If we end up in the same boat with the new lot I fully expect supporters to vote with their feet and that includes a lot of the die-hards as most people have simply had enough watching this wounded animal squirm and wriggle till it dies.
Unless Lamb has “real” backers on board with him this time I see another new owner and the same problems in a few months and then relegation.
