All I can say is that all this doom and gloom might yet be premature. Everyone is hacked off because Mrs Koukash didn't win, but whoever does clearly has more to invest. Maybe the Bulls was meant to be a hobby with his real money going into Salford.

The hope was that you would get access to someone's cash who wasn't going to be involved with the club (i.e., her husband). Clearly whatever will happen is better than Mrs Koukash was offering, and so apart from the attention they brought upon themselves over the last week (something which he has shown a fondness for), you are where you always where.

If Mrs K bid £10 but was willing to invest £1m in the Bulls thereafter, she would still lose to A N other who offered £11 and was willing to invest a further 5p.

I very much doubt it, unless the RFL would block licence transfer. I'd be more worried that the Koukash consortium isn't terribly serious, or at least isn't serious enough.

On this sort of subject, I'm not convinced by the talk of RFL conspiracies. Nobody is coming out of the prolonged decline of Bradford well. I also imagine that the easiest way to block things without worrying about precedent would be the fit and proper person test, and we know Mandy K has a few money losing failures on her resume so can't imagine it'd have been too hard to fit that up.

Unless anyone got the wrong end of the stick with all that positivity though, I'm pretty sure we are now fscked.

But that is the purpose of the administrators job; to get the best deal for the creditors not the club.
If they are so minted why not beat the offer of the other parties?

Of course it is still all speculation but I would think that your "clearly has more to invest" should perhaps read " clearly has offered more to pay off creditors" . That is the priority for the administrator , the viability of the new business is secondary. And before anyone jumps in , I deliberately choose the word secondary.
