But who are these important/influential people who dont want Sharp appointing?
Players?
Sponsors?
It cant be the fans because we dont have any clout - we just pay up.
Oh hang on - if Duffy/Chalmers got a sniff that fans wouldnt be happy with Sharp they might worry it could impact on Season Ticket sales - how could they get around that - set a ST earlybird deadline before the coach is announced, and make out it might not be Sharp - Good idea - wait a minute - that's what they've just done.
For the record I'm on this side of the fence - I dont give a stuff about Sharp's history if he gets us promoted out of League 1 he gets my vote.
