Least it's getting interesting, especially as we don't know what lambs motives are.
I'm still struggling with one thing though, is his bid was best for getting the creditors their money back, why won't we get some points back? As is he is going to pay them off we shouldn't have as much of a deduction, or what was the point is putting in a bid to pay them back.
Weirdly his bid is nothing to do with points. How it works is you bid what you bid, and that money goes to the administrator. Whatever happens to it doesn't help the bidder and their points situation. probably at the end of the process BB2014 goes into creditors voluntary liquidation and the creditors get whatever divi (if any) is left over
OTOH if the bidder bids less, but tells the RFL that if he wins, he will pay off (say) all trade creditors, then the RFL might at least consider an application for some points back. For being a general good egg.
I think everybody knows that if the bidder pays creditors that way, they oddly enough get the money, but if he pays the same sum as part of his bid through the administrator, then oddly they are unlikely to as it will all disappear down the administration black hole. Whatever, your bid to the administrator isn't what the RFL look at re points deduction.
And FWIW I think any talk of a points rebate mid-season is worse than pie-in-the-sky anyway. No way that's ever going to happen now, absent mystery multi billionaire who lands from space and literally pays everybody off.
