Wasn't it mentioned we would sign 3 players before the 8's or just to sure i heard that?

May have cast aspersions on Clare before i have seen him, just watched a couple of highlights on youtube and he has a nice step with alot of speed, might come good for us, would like to know who we are losing though but bit early to know for sure maybe.

The earlier announcement said up to 3 . Not sure if it was mentioned officially that one was an ex Bulls player,.
Pure speculation on my part but if the ex Bull was Leon , he's now injured and out for at least 6 weeks.

Ah ok would make sense as to why its gone quiet i suppose, wasn't Jeffries mentioned (id really doubt he would be anywhere near match fit though)

Clare is an excellent signing. Very unfortunate to have had Carney as a direct rival at Cas. Two wingers from Williams Caro and Clare is a bit of a luxury.
Not sure about Ryan but it's interesting that he's not only a back rower but also covers centre.
I'd suspect that there might be some small changes from week to week in the 8's even if there are no injuries. The squad is strong enough to compete - but like others I am concerned that if Mullaney and/or Gaskell are injured again we might struggle.

Very pleased with the signing of Clare. With Clare, Caro and Williams we now have 3 wingers that would probably be good enough for Super League level IMO. Not sure who our 2 starting wingers will be out of those 3 in the coming weeks but I suppose injuries might occur, and if they do, we have very good cover.

I haven't seen Ryan play very much to be honest, but he seems fairly versatile. I don't know if a Wakefield fan could confirm but hasn't he played prop, second row and centre for them? If he was in the team or on the bench and we picked up an injury during the game it would allow an easier re-shuffle and he could even be used as the back on the bench that Jimmy likes to have.

Steve Ferres saying we're trying to get one more. No idea who or what position.

With Sandow going to Warrington, they may be willing to allow a HB come to us on a short term deal. Would be more likely Declan Patton than Gareth O'brien.

Don't loans and Dual Reg have to have played X amount of league games to be eligible for the 8's? I think it is full signings only at this stage.
