Anything else and we will be back here in a year or so.
Say we get a buyer who saves us and thus a 12point deduction and no chance of winning anything for a year. No season ticket sales, poor gates and a loss made every week trying to survive at Odsal. Who would take that on?
It pains me to say it, but enough is enough, let's start again and build the club up properly.
As for Odsal, well the RFL and Bradford Council can do what they like with it then. Bradford Council may one day look back on those rejected planning applications ruefully.
As an outsider looking in this seems to be your best option by far. It is not nice viewing from outside, at your previous admins you collectively as fans have been defiant and determined, you now seem worn out. I fear that a big points deduction and staying in the Championship will give you only more misery with nothing but an uphill slog to avoid relegation. With a further weakened squad that will be a battle.
Marc Green is the latest owner to let you down and due to his faults the club must face a sanction, but the club should also be given a chance to recover and rebuild.
If that sanction was to relegate you to league 1 with no points deduction you may be further down the ladder, but you can start to move forward, to recover and rebuild. I believe that is what you the fans need, a positive route of travel. I do not know what fan bodies you have, but rather than raise money for bad plans I think you should lobby the RFL for that action.
I do though fear the RFL may frustrate that, be it Bulls or a new Bradford Northern I think they will want any Bradford club to play from Odsal due to their iconic stadium blunder.
Good luck and keep your chins up. The only real asset that Bradford RL has are you the fans, don't forget that.
