Maybe based on that article it he has investment lined up in the form of Mrs Koukash from the off (hence all the koukash tweets), but needs to be successful with his bid first

Lamb definitely stated on Twitter that his was an independent bid. It looks like that has now been removed.

Lamb wants things to move quickly - good luck with that. The London-based businessman is fronting a consortium of wealthy backers from the capital and is hoping administrator David Wilson will finally accept their offer. The long-running saga took another twist yesterday when Mrs Koukash revealed Mr Wilson had indicated her offer had fallen short of rival bids. So we're such a basket case of a club that we've attracted multi millionaires the Koucashs, who might be beaten by a consortium of "weathy backers" from the capital. I'd still like to know more details from the Lamb casserole consortium. Motives? Who are the backers? Money to put straight in? Also, reading the article, whoever wins, their first phone call should be to Mrs Koucash clearly to invite her and her cash onto the board.

But on the plus side, lets remember there have been a few occations in the past 4 months or so where we would have taken pretty much any owner who allowed us to even excist. So picking over which is the better offer from 4, alledgedly, well financed bids is a massive improvement over where we could be right now - picking over the liquidated carcass of a dead Bull.

Why are we questioning Lamb's motives. I can think of many reasons to be cynical but I can't think of a single reason anyone would buy the Bulls if they weren't committed to the club remaining in SL and ultimately being succesful.

He needs to rid himself of any of the old faces.
Provide proof of funds for a budget and so take us out of special measures.
Sign 3 props and 2 second rows.
Finish 12th.

Not sure what we're so worried about.

I think it's a case of once (or in this case at least thrice) bitten, twice shy. I just don't know what to think any more, so will continue to feel like it's doom and gloom until I see solid evidence otherwise.

I understand why people are saying we would have taken any owner if they saved the club, and I know what they mean, but it's worse tha that, the new owner isn't ours to take or leave, it will just be whatever we are landed with.

I don't have the feeling (based on not much at all) that Lamb has any ulterior motives even if I don't buy this "wealthy southern backers" hype, but of those thought to be left, he does seem to be thinking of playing rugby. Of some sort. You can't say that about anyone else.

Green has not said a word that I've seen, he loves teh club so much he put it in admin to try to get his debt paid, and somebody else posted that he's a big Rhino.

I can understand the City guys wanting us down there but can't see anything positive in that, or their bid, which they seem to have gone to great lengths to downplay, and as for BPA again we haven't heard a peep, and there is no known money.

On that basis I hope Lamb gets it, but like most people I am utterly fecked off and bored with the neverending delays misinformation and pregnant pauses, and can't shake off a feeling of major doom and gloom. If Lamb gets it, I'll force a smile and try to work up at least a bit of enthusiasm, but to be honest now I'm expecting little or nothing, and have as much optimism for the future as a Ukrainian flag maker in Crimea.

Agreed and its only March so plenty of time.

Have to say that Mrs Koukash surely is now only interested in the Ground so she could sell to a Property Developer. I wonder who she has in mind?

I've read somewhere the RFL were insisting on proof of the bidders providing proof of 500k of immediate investment. Is this based in fact or more nonsense?
