Whether it's fact or not I don't know. The first mention I saw was in R L Express on Monday. At the end of the article Chris Jones said:
" Express understands that all bidders have had to confirm that they have £500,000 available to invest immediately into the club"
For the same reasons mentioned by FA I agree with him that this is highly likely to be true.
Let's hope that our friends on Boots n All tonight will at least establish when the announcement will be made. The resounding silence from Red Hall is symptomatic of the complete disdain they have for RL fans, not just Bulls fans. How on earth Francis Cummins and the players are managing without an explosion of temper, I really don't know.

Perhaps coach & players should look closer to home for the route of their problems, rather than just pretend all this is the fault of the RFL.

I am not saying that the Bulls problems are the fault of the RFL .
I am saying that the news " blackout " is an example of their disdain for the supporter base. I base that on the following
Bids closed Thursday and told to expect result early this week.
Then we are told RFL will be working with Wilson over the weekend
That changes to meeting Monday ( report in RL Express mentioned in earlier posts)
Told result likely to be announced on Thursday.
Mrs K obviously told she's been unsuccessful on Monday
Lamb says he is likely to know at the weekend

Throughout this week no statement from RFL explaining reasons. Those reasons may be perfectly reasonable but the absence of comment from Red Hall increases the worries for players staff and fans . Not to mention the rumours and speculation

Maybe just maybe the reason behind the delay is the RFL wanting to ensure the future safety for the Bulls? I know it doesnt fit with the paranoid views on here but you never know.

I agree - but what about the last two times??? Didn't exactly do a sterling job did they.......

the Lack of communication from the RFL is criminal, it shows a total lack of respect for the fan base and the RL community in general - is it any wonder that fans (and SL club owners) continually have a go at the RFL?

As much as this will irk many of smaller town/city neighbours - the RFL need the Bulls. SL needs the Bulls and Bradford needs the Bulls. Deep down in their hearts, the protagonists from WF and HD postcodes will admit that too - just never out loud or an open forum......

Does "have £500,000 available to invest immediately" really mean "have £500,00 available to fund losses for the rest of the season"?

You might well be proved correct but why would a London based 'entrepreneur' get involved on that basis? In the short term unless he/they are prepared to fund an increase in the budget to achieve 12th place then he has simply found a way to get rid of money while suffering abuse and loss of repuation.

In the medium to long term, unless he/they are prepared to fund investment in a side that is improving, then all other calculations based on events, sponsorship, gate receipts don't hold up.

In short the only way the Bulls stop losing a ton of money is if they get immediate investment.

If Lamb has seriously turned up and bought the Bulls with not a lot of money, he's lost his shirt before he starts. Why would he?

That is all
