I'll try not to derail the thread and keep it relevant to Bradford, but I have some recollection that there were some structural issues with Central Park. Wigan are mere tenants to a stadium supplied by someone else. The Widnes ground is on the same site as Naughton Park, so no one has bought it.

Widnes are relevant though as the point of the all-weather pitch is that it can be used every day and all year round, Richie Mathers's knees permitting, so generates much needed income for the club.

I hear that the consortium of Elvis Presley and Lord Lucan have found a new partner. The old problem of raising funds by selling Shergar, which was, sort of suspended due to Shergar being a bit deceased, has now been, as it were, brought back to life by the introduction of a third partner, a Dr. Ackular who is going to breath new life into the old horse..

Don't mind mention of Wigan, Central Park or even Widnes. But talk of Richie Mathers sent a shiver down my back.
