The Keyes and Minchella departures were inevitable I suppose but it's still completely devastating. Absolutely no idea who we sign now as replacements.

Sport shouldn't be this heartbreaking.

I know it's not good but in reality can we really afford sl quality players hopefully there is a clause to say they can be loaned back to Bradford if not playing first team. We have to rebuild but least we still have a club. The player most gutted about us Elliott but least he gets a chance to play sl

I had thought we needed 1 of Keyes or Milnes to stay in the halves. We sort of did I suppose as he's getting loaned back. But still.
That's the best of that academy year gone. What's the next year got? Maybe we can keep them? Shackleton gets picked for England squads I think. Vytas, Ebon Scurr, Gallagher will all have to step up I think.

Dunno about you guys, but I'm pretty sick of this. It isn't fun. It isn't why I like RL. It's genuinely depressing.

Have to say I agree, when the current England team is made up of half Bradford academy products, the nrl semi final had 5 Bradford lads in it and yet for every player we produce and all the building we do, it all gets stripped away and sold off every time with hull kr and giants often the short term benefactors

Ah, putting together a handy shopping list for KR/Hudds for the year after next, when despite acting within our means we have another administration event and get to sell off all our young jewels again.

Leigh and Fev were arguably in worse positions than us this time last year. It's going to be a rough few weeks but I think we just have to sit tight and see what state we're in come season kick-off.

Reporting to have received £100k for that deal.

Really disappointing to lose Minchella, Storton, Milnes and Keyes. There were the foundations in which to build the club on. But I don't think we had any choice.
