A quick read of a Private Eye will reveal many examples of how the big accountancy companies are seemingly unable to find things wrong with companies finances – only for there to be scandal a short time after. KPMG, PWC etc have all had their mentions.

KPMG didnt spot the 1.5 billion pound black hole in the Coop banks finances either......
Well they wouldnt do would they? it was them that advised the Coop bank to buy the Britannia Building society which was the main cause of the Debt.
Then they coolly charged the Coop 7.4 million big ones for services rendered last year, thanks very much..
