I'm sure the majority of Bradford fans would think themselves lucky to get away with just a 6 points deduction. And then move on.

This had to happen and it happened for the right reasons too. If it hadn't the club would have gone out of business leaving a lot of people including the council out of pocket.

This isn't a case of a club running up debts and walking away from it's liabilities which is what the points deduction etc are in fact designed to discoverge. Hopefully the RFL see sense in that.

Oh and if I read another comment from an Internet financial commentator incorrectly saying a CVA means everyone gets back every penny I'll go on an embarrassing emotion driven rant like wooden spoon.

This is how it appears to me from what I have read (maybe wrong)

Ok bulls have known this was coming for some time, which is why the shares were not transferred at the previous attempt. Probably Khan trying to minimise his losses, which has led to further debt.

The administration seems to be a legal tool to remove BBRLFC from OKbulls control as quickly as possible. Regardless of any financial loss or not the holding company of BBRLFC entered administration and it will be seen as such by fans of every other SL club. To think other fans, especially Wakey, will not be angry if the Bulls don't get a deduction is just deluded. Also I do believe the Bulls have a gained a financial advantage over Wakey by following this course of action and therefore deserve a points deduction of 2-4 points. I think 2 would be fairer given the effort the new directors made to transfer the company before this happened.

Either way we need a full explanation from the RFL to accompany whatever decision they make and full clarification of the penalties of administration.

It is shocking that this has happened again, I hope these new guys can steer you in the right direction and the Bulls become a big club again. I feel for the Bulls fans but equally for the Wakey fans.

Completely agree with you, unfortunately even if we got the max 6 points deduction SOME Wakey fans and one or two others still won't be satisfied as they are expect us to be demoted into the Penine leagues. If we're not relegated to the pennine leagues expect the "iconic" posts which are as pathetic as the one above from

Without reading all of this thread, the reason that Wakey fans (I'm assuming) feel aggrieved and are wanting relegation is that we were told that we were 30 minutes from admin, Michael Carter our new owner inquired about the consequences, he has posted when questioned about the RL's reply, "I was told if we went into admin that we would be relegated to Championship 1 immediately!"
Now why should we feel that Bradford have had preferential treatment?

As I've stated elsewhere; MC has been unusually quiet since this development and really owes it to Wakefield fans to publicly clarify the point you've made. It's secrecy that is causing a lot of the ill feeling between fans so come on MC lets have a statement.
