You have to wonder what on earth Green was thinking we he handed over the money to a company already clearly in the brown stuff - suspect he wishes he could wind the clock back?

Well apparently the Sun has printed that Lamb has been pipped to the post by another consortium from London. Now @SMTMUK tweeted yesterday that it was London without the Lamb, so we might yet see a twist yet! Surely the T&A can't be so far wide of the mark? The smart money still seems to be on Lamb.

The Sun article starts with "Trevor Lamb's bid" so it's hard to take it seriously from there onwards.

I'd be mightily surprised if Trevor Lamb won. Don't imagine there's much interest in Rugby League from Harley Street endodontic specialists, but I could be wrong.

So what's holding things up this time??!!

It seems its anything the RFL can use to delay the ratification of the new owner, leaving the club, fans and players going into yet another game with uncertainty and distraction.

I presume somebody at some point mentioned to the RFL that the Bulls is, in reality, just several thousand fans who spend their money and turn up every week, and without whom, there is no point to any of it?

Anyone would think they either don't know we actually exist, or else do, but couldn't give a fsck.

There are a few companies which give loans to basket cases in return for usuristic [is there such a word?]interest rates. Maybe Green and Whitcut deserved each other? Either way round, receiving big interest from those who do pay back covers what they lose from those who go belly up. In fact it clearly more than covers it since these companies seem to thrive.

Indeed. In fact, some of them use some of the profit to sponsor RL clubs.
