If the cash is coming out of Mandy's account it's hers regardless of where that money originated. If Mr K wants to top up her account with cash gifts when she's running short that's his prerogative.

Not a thing they can do about it (apart from not granting them the licence for reasons unknown).

Latest at 5:30 from Calendar "The long-running saga over the battle to secure control of Bradford Bulls is close to reaching a resolution.

Administrators are thought to have secured agreement with one of the five groups seeking to buy the embattled Super League club, with an announcement expected tomorrow (Wednesday).

Bradford businessman Marc Green has emerged as frontrunner after Richard Lamb's London-based consortium failed to provide proof of funds in time.

Green's company, Safeguard Security Group Ltd, is thought to be the Bulls' biggest creditor following a loan it made to the club last September.

An offer from Mandy Koukash, wife of Salford chairman Marwan Koukash, was rejected by the administrators a week ago, while other bids from the two local football clubs, Bradford City and Bradford Park Avenue, are also thought to have bitten the dust."

what the RFL are unhappy about I what could happen in the future.......remember SL goes down to 12 if Mandy Koukash get Bradford that could mean the 6 unhappy clubs who walked out of a previous meeting could in theory join with Bradford an Salford and have a majority. They are already unhappy with how the RFL run and administer SL, it could be a vote of no confidence

pie.warrior has it, if their is not confilction of interest the only possible reason the RFL dont want mandy at the helm is outlined above

IF they've already passed her as a fit and proper person, and their are no rules which prevent a spouse of a club owner owing a different club as was reported on radio when her interest was first made public. Then is there anything RFL could do to prevent Green selling her the club once administrator is out of the equation?.

Expect the rule to be tweaked to suit very soon.

Its all second hand stuff, the only direct communicaitons via his twitter and company website statement really do not read like someone bidding to take control of the club. Its all about working with new owners etc.....unless this has very recently changed? but that statement was after the bids deadline. " Mr Green has worked tirelessly engaging many meetings with a number of interested parties both previous owners, new owners and the Rugby Football League, which now appears to have resulted in securing new ownership and a bright future for The Bulls. It is a matter of fact and record that throughout such discussions Mr Green has been at pains to attempt to broker a solution to the problems faced by the Bulls in recognition of the significance of the Club to the population of Bradford, the supporters, employees and players"[/b] ssg marc green statement
