All anyone wanting to complete a takeover has to do is show proof of funds to RFL. Once takeover is complete then no ones holding a gun to their heads and making them put the money in. They could liquidate assets day after a takeover if they so wished. And bear in mind if it is green who's front runner he'd get his bulk of money he paid to purchase back as debenture holder after administrator had taken his fees. And then have any remaining assets to dispose off as he saw fit.
Wouldn't make financial sense to go down that route though as assets are worth peanuts. Player contracts don't count as they don't have to tupe across.

What assets? All I can see is massive liabilities the moment he signs on the dotted line.

I must admit it is interesting that all those sprouting on social media and to T&A - Moore and co, Lamb and Mandy all have failed yet the one who has kept quiet the most, Marc Green could be our owner.

I still wonder if Green does buy it, will he sell on to Mandy, the RFL would have to approve new owners correct? Or could she just buy say 49% of shares and not need RFL approval?

This is dependant on the RFL's requirement for "proof of funds"

Aside from the calamitous effect on players and staff it would actually be quite funny if the club is placed in admin again by the RFL's preferred owner. They really are a set of doilums.
