Your missing out 2 points in the middle of that story.

Club seems to been sold in principle to Moore, Watt & Calvert, then Lamb, to then find that these purchases fell through for whatever reason (mainly RFL). If the administrator was acting improperly, surely Green would have been his first choice?

I cling to the forlorn hope that this may all be like the strange way we acquired terry newton using micky Higham. And that mr Green wanting the best for us has an agreement to access the coo cash.

forlorn hope as I say.

As for this Green fellow, I'm not sure why people think he is only buying to recover his loan. The Bulls don't seem to have a pot of gold waiting for any owner. If he buys the club, he will not recover his money as he will have to spend money and be then in charge of a loss making business with a falling customer base. FA seems to think there are few if no salable assets. Why are people thinking he is in this just for money??? The only way he could make money is to re-sell at a higher price.

Agree that slating someone before they do anything wrong is out of order, but it's par for the course on twitter, or so it seems.

Not sure I agree with your last paragraph though. All of that is only true if he intends to actually run the club but, of course, once bought it is his to do with as he wishes and that includes selling off all, or any part, of it.

At the end of the day he is in business and to the best of my knowledge, other than supplying a commercial loan, has never had any involvement with or expressed any deep and undying love or even any slight attachment for, the club. With that in mind, I don 't think it's unfair to assume that his interest is likely to be purely business and it is a truism that rugby league clubs don't make money for one simple reason; they don't make money, which makes his interest strange if he doesn't sell, imo.

At least, if he sells, whoever he sells it on to wouldn't be involved with an administrator.

Didnt Marc Greens statement yesterday say that it wasnt him that put the club into admin but HMRC.

Edit: There has recently been press coverage relating to SSG and Mr Greens’ involvement with The Bulls and a considerable amount of information has appeared both in the printed press, the internet and on national television. A lot of that information is inaccurate. There has been a suggestion that Mr Green and/or SSG have in some way been responsible for the current predicament faced by the Club and faced by the Bulls and that the appointment of Administrators was a negative act designed to undermine the future viability of the Club.

Insofar as such suggestions have been made they are wholly inaccurate and factually incorrect.

The Bulls faced a Winding Up Order issued by HMRC and had SSG not exercised their powers as Debenture holders to appoint an Administrator the Club would have been compulsorily wound up and would have ceased to exist. The appointment of the Administrator therefore was a positive step and taken in the best interests of the Club, its employees, supporters and players.

Didn't he say that he put club into admin because HMRC had put in for a winding up order?

No. He did but to preempt a winding up order from HMRC.

Is there a way of proving this impending winding up order by hmrc? All we have at moment is his word for it.
