What a load of tripe. John Ledger spoke to Paul Deacon personally and to Peter Hood. It had nothing to do with the club. I get the press releases and, I have it on good authourity, so does BullsEye. So why don't you ask him whether he got it coz I certainly didn't.

Actions will always speak louder than words, especially when people are already getting wary about the constant stream of words from the players that they fail to back up on the pitch.

Clubs shouldn't be in the position where players need to wheel out "we are all behind the coach/manager" type comments, we should all be able to see that evidenced out on the pitch, when players do come out with such a statement it invariably asks more questions than it answers.

That said, during the week, what else are the players expected to do? Play a game in everyone's back garden to show that they can do it?

As it's been earlier posted, damned if you do, and damned if you don't. At least the players know they're not playing to their potential, and are willing to openly come out and back the coach?
