Hi Shents, good game today. Oh by the way, was that a dodgy tackle you did on Deacon? Or did you think it was ok?
Seems an odd thing to ask him.
I'm going to make a point of asking all our players after games about their tackles from now on.
Easy to talk to players at Cas unless you haven't noticed, i could write you a script out if you like but your just going to have to take my word for it.
Since presumably this must be something you have had experience of to be able to raise it as a comparison, I'm sure there must be a fascinating tale to tell there?
One of his bloody goats eaten my watch, and I had to do a lot of gesticulating. I gave up when it seemed clear he thought I had selected one that I would like to do rude things to, and wanted to negotiate a price

What were you doing with said goat that caused it to have occasion to eat your watch? I think the public should be told...
You do know that the CCF is not a one-off game like the WCC? Anyway, I give up. You're obviously in the weird minority cult that thinks everything was won despite Deacon, and man never landed on the Moon. I therefore conclude I'd get more sense trying to argue with a deaf mute Abyssinian goatherd.
Sorry but by your own definition CCF means Challenge Cup final which is a one off game. Anyway your original post is still wrong Paul Deacon didn't play in any round of the Challenge cup in 2000.

Well, I was in the Sem-yen province, half way up Mt. Ras Dashen searching for the source of the Blue Nile, when I slipped and almost fell. As I hung on by two fingers, over a 1000 metre drop, my only chance was to swing side to side until I could reach out to grab the branches of a small tree growing out of a rock crevice. After about 3 hours I managed to do so and then clung on for a rest. At this time, the goat, which was chewing the buds off the tree, decided to have my watch, and obviously I couldn't do anything about it, without letting go of the tree.
However I was wearing a head-cam and once I had saved myself and descended from the mountain, I hiked 100 miles to Gondar where I got a still printed. I then returned to the mountains, armed with this photo, mounted on a rod protruding from my headpiece so as to be able to keep my arms free, and scoured the rock faces for weeks until I tracked this goat down. It had grown a beard, and was more stocky, but I recognised it. I then tracked it for days until it met up with its goatherd, a fine dejazmach called Kebbade Fikru, at at the Segonet settlement. He bargained hard, but by this point I was quite weary and emotional, and so the loss of both cans of Heinz beans seemed like a small price to pay.
I am still in touch with him every 2 years, which is as often as he treks to his nearest post office in Amba Maderi'ya
Varky, I'm tempted to say thay you should get out more, but clearly you probably get out too much
FWIW I agree with you completely, Paul Deacon has been (and is) a wonderful asset for Bradford Bulls. However, I won't go on for ever and we do need to look beyond Deacon, whenever that is.
As it stands I don't see an obvious successor inside the club and I don't know who from the marketplace I'd want to bring in
Hey, I see what you did there. You tried to make a funny! Well done.
It doesn't work, since you have a thick skull, and that's the fault I alluded to, whereas the greater the density of a brain, the more working neurons it would have and thus be better equipped. But a blue star for trying hard.
Now could you set some of your neurons to actually considering the point which I raised, which is why you have 'never rated' someone who has achieved what I listed in the game, or is this sh.it all you do?
I have never rated him because he has never been actually that good, Ryan Bailey shares similar amounts of medals with Deacon, that doesn't make him a good player though. Deacon was carried in this team by quality stand off's and hookers, it's now that they are not here to do so that you see the real Paul Deacon, which is a overrated, uncreative, slow - goal kicker. Nothing more.
