Bullmania appealed mostly to fairweather fans, our loyal fans number roughly in the seven thousand and something that turned up today. And im not going to claim that im some sort of bona fide loyal supporter because im not, ive only just got into RL over the last couple of years. Targetting families is a great strategy to an extent, but do they all turn up when the results are going against them and the weather is bad?

What is in it for you when such as London, Celts Cats then next time probably Tolouse are playing at your place .All those teams you play with no show fans surely must affect your crowd?

No club should rely on away support coming to make them viable, you have to worry about what you have control over and what you can influence.

More seriously though there was not a lot of comment around today and I think this is worrying. People are now past caring and it won't be long before they stop coming altogether.

Surely not, the people can't possibly stop coming to see The People's Team

I was standing with about 40 on the terrace next to the stand, there were a few dotted around in the stand and a group up on the Coral Stand...all in all about a hundred at most. Mind you it's the best 500 mile round trip I've had thanks!! :D

Yep, not only that we brought a new recruit today, that's 5 we've added in the last 6 years. It's the mard ar$e singles who settle for an afternoon down the pub or a snore on the sofa cos they can't be bothered making the effort. A curse on you single folk, why can't you go n' get hitched and have some kids, up our attendances, do the decent thing.

Families are not the problem, but the lack of a decent stadium, taking people for granted and woeful home performances might have something to do with it.

Catalans had the third highest attendance in SL (more than Cas Leeds), Toulouse easily the highest in the championship. No doubt boosted by thousands of travelling North-Westerners. What we need is more M62 teams.

It's a good point in theory but Hudds traditionally bring a very small amount and they are one of the closest teams to us.
