If Brough is available then I reckon we should be making an offer post haste. We know we have money available after the failed Bird deal so it would be a good move (IMO) to try and bring in Brough.

He's still under contract though and would command a pretty hefty fee to Wakefield. Weren't Huddersfield talking about 100k for the Scotsman? I mean Englishman no Scotsman no Englishman...

I suppose that depends after his recent suspension for "breaking club rules". If Kear is as unhappy with him as is suggested then maybe a move on would be better for all concerned?

Of course, I am purely speculating but it is possible that Wakefield would be easier to deal with if they feel that he is causing problems internally?

He's a Wakey player though, and as they are our feeder club, there are no issues or problems at all.
