Aye, and Eddie is hinting at it too. And, as we all know:

There is always an exception to every rule but good point, well made.

Peacock was luckier though in the fact that he was playing in a top side who were THE team at the time. Burgess is not and carries a huge burden on very young shoulders.

I was referring to a discussion where only two of us and a very senior club official were present.

So getting a little too close for comfort to losing a franchise point as well..

I hope we have some positive signings next year to compliment some promising youngsters.

And considering the Leeds, Saints and both Hull games have gone, it doesn't look good.

The only one left that realistically has a chance of beating 10k is our next one against Wigan (which I'm due to be in the corporate facilities for - irrelevant, but wanted to mention it anyway lol).

Harlequins, Catalans and Salford to come at home. None are going to be good crowds at all.

That average WILL be under 10k come the end of the season.

I've been saying this for ages. And its not just one point, since you get a point for having aground more than 40% full (on average) too. But we get a point back for the salary cap breach dropping off, so we are still well within B License territory - provided they do not move the goalposts. But finish outside the top 8 this year and next year and we'd likely lose another point, so three down one up = net loss of two points. Still B license but marginally so then rather than one point short of an A license.

We couldnt even get 10k for a playoff game on a friday evening after we had finished third in the table in 2007, little chance of us breaking the 10k mark in to weeks time in my books.

Nice, not a bad meal actually either and a good view of the game.

It's depressing reading that's for sure and certainly not a great time to be a Bull. It will take a lot of hard work to get people back through the gates the way things are right now. We need somebody with some charisma and media skills to get out there and try to sell our club again. Robbie Paul...

I, and at least one other poster on here, were told a bit ago from the highest level the gate the club needed to break even on a matchday. We were also told the incremental financial "contribution" per head through the turnstiles. The economics may well have changed since then, of course. But I recognise the figure being quoted.
The figure is 11k and this only applies to the two Hull clubs as West Yorkshire police demand a higher police presence at these games. There can be up to 3 times as many police at these games. This i a problem which effects all the West Yorkshire clubs when the Hull's travel.
