NO chance should we keep him, he playes lest than 50% of games for the last 2 seasons(including this) and is relativley high paid. It's a complete waste of salary cap.

In days gone by I'd have said we should keep him on some kind of "pay as you play" deal, however with the salary cap it's too risky as we'd have to run light to accommodate the possibility of payments being made to him.

but we're already spending nothing like full cap this year, and looking at recruitment so far for next year we're going to be well short next year too.

that said, I don't think we can read too much into players being retained and released until we also see who else we're bringing in. If dont sign anymore or bring in a load off average players that would be poor business, but on the other hand we're bringing in some real quality in key positions to combine with the youth coming from the academy system then it puts an entirely different light on matters. Think club needs to break with normal policy and make some announcements early with regard to incoming players to try and negate some of doom and gloom thats going round though.
