Semi definately should be retained IMO providing he wants to stay.

Has it got a rumpus room though?

Yeah it's activated when the intercom detects Chris Caisley's voice.

Semi is interviewed on the Pulse Podcast this week. Says he's in talks about a new deal at Bradford and hopes to stay, but it depends on whether the club wants him.

I really can't see why we wouldn't unless we have an amazing signing lined up, because, imo Tadulala is one of the best in the league.

Semi hasn't done quite as well this year but I think we'd be daft not to take him for another year. I would rate him up there with the top 5 wingers in SL when he plays like we know he can. It's our right winger that I'm concerned about but we've got him for another year so I just hope he can improve next year.

not defending rikki's weakness's but at the time we signed him we already had tupou on the books on presumably much more money. On that basis I'd have expected we planned on using tupou/semi as first choice wingers with rikki as backup/ being filtered in as eventual replacement for semi. If thats the case it puts his performance this year in a slightly different light imo.
Ideally even if semi is retained then we need to be looking at bringing a third winger in to give competition for places and to give continuity as semi would almost certainly retire next year anyway. Whether rudds the answer or we can afford to bring in someone more proven is yet to be seen.

We really could do with some quality on the wing for next season. We certainly need more threat than exists with just Tadulala/Sheriffe/Halley/Platt as possible wingers.

dont think we should even consider halley at wing anymore except in a major injury crisis. he's made fullback his own this year and improved the areas of his game where many ,me include,d critiscised him in past. don't see platt as anything more than a utility back anymore. I think sheriffe would look a different player with a more defensively capable Centre alongside him but at the same time we need to plan for semi leaving whether its this year or next and it would only be beneficial to get someone in place sooner rather than later.
Just as a general point we should aim to have at least two players capable of playing each position to a good standard to ensure theres always competition for places. We've suffered in this regard in the last few years in particular with certain incumbents guaranteed of a place because we have no other option.
