Unfortunately I think credit card payments have to be over 100 quid for protection to apply.

As far as the standing order is concerned, you will not be able to get that back

2015 - major missed opportunity, 2016 - stronger teams = harder task (no problem there then), 2017 - OMG What now!!!

I think the chargeback rules still apply on visa debit payments. The banks just won't tell you about it. Or at least that used to be the case, I say contact the bank and see what they say.

I went for 4 month part payment, first taken 31/10 by Visa card, second taken by standing order on 8/11. Do I have a leg to stand on regarding claiming back either payment if passes turn out not to be valid? (Even though Green said they would)

Whatever Green says now is completely irrelevant. He has no say if the season ticket passes are valid next season (if next season should come to pass). Only way he can make the promise stick is by being the owner post admin. However he has 2 recent liquidations to his name and 1 admin so where that puts him on the fit and proper person test is anyones guess. Who would want him back anyhow, would anyone else buy a season ticket with him in charge?

He has said what he said to try keep favour with the fans, it's all lip service with no backing.

Hopefully Julian Rhodes and Mark Lawn are bored with the £6m they got from the BCAFC takeover and want to get back into the limelight.

I don't see how we can get out of this, at the last filed accounts we lost £756k plus the £200k we owe to HMRC, plus other suppliers and wages.

Someone with a million quid just laying around, then they need a good fortune behind them to keep the club running.

I put my season ticket on a master card, do i have the same protection as a VISA card?

So how can Marc Green promise to honour the 'too good to be true' ST offer for 2018 if he doesn't buy back the club. Why would any new owner give free entry for a whole SL season to 1000 fans.

I'll be honest, selling 2018 Super League season tickets is not particularly high on the agenda right now!

Think it'll just be an even bigger spiral now. Say we start the 2017 season (!) with the squad in tact (!!) that's minus six we start on and a major chance on missing out on the top 4 again. And then we're back here same time next year.

Plus there is the fact that we won't trust any new owner as far as we can throw them.

The more fundamental question is whether RL is viable in Bradford without radical change. With City on the up, the Bulls can hardly afford discounted tickets to rekindle Bullmania. This article on VINCIT takes the long view about Bradford football - that is rugby and soccer - and it is difficult to avoid the conclusion that the odds are against a Bulls revival... https://bradfordsporthistory.wordpress. ... long-view/

Re: Administration Again : Mon Nov 14, 2016 2:04 pm
Administration is now relegation I believe, but not 100% as that was the direction the previous owners were looking to take Leigh prior to the current owners taking over and paying a HMRC winding up order in full with 48 hours to spare.
Remember it is far easier to find 10 people willing to tip in £50k pa rather than one £500k, it is also far easier to find 20 @£25k etc. You have what most RL clubs don't which is a rich recent history of success, a huge dormant fan base and a huge catchment area.
Sometimes you take a step back to go forward again, I would encourage you to contact supporters direct, to look into a Supporter owned club that works very closely with local company's and you never know where you will end up but at least you will not be in the dark regarding the financial truth anymore.
Our rivalry in the Championship made the past two seasons for me, you have some great fans who deserve better than this but you must see the emperors clothes for what they are and seize this great opportunity to sort your club out once and for all.
Good luck
