Well you would think they had no confidence in BB2014's ability to pay for anything, and they do for Green. Why they have confidence in that or whether they have even checked hasn't been said. But we are out of special measures now.

The only explanation is that he's turned up with some money. Out of special measures, looking to sign players only points to one thing........... doesn't it??

So, do we
a) have to suffer one year loss of distribution money; or
b) not suffer our own loss, but for some weird reason have to suffer the back end of the previous owner's loss; in which case, what sum does that represent for the new owners i.e. how much (if any) funding distribution is there left; or
c) suffer no distribution reduction at all?

Also
d) do we have to repay to RFL the advances they made to run the club under administrator?
e) have we agreed to repay any trade creditors if so to what extent
f) have we agreed to pay any of the old company's HMRC debt if so what and how?

So, we've got Green. He's taken us out of the Red and into the Black - Peachy! Don't miss us being in the Brown smelly stuff. Don't make us Blue Marc, give us some players and we'll be in the Pink. I may have a glass of Burgundy or Claret tonight, the end of a Grey period. Hope the Wine won't Colour my judgement.

It's almost as though he got together with the RFL to solve both problems.
I am owed £200k plus by the Bulls that it is unlikely I'll see again if any of the other bidders get their hands on the club judging by their offers. However I could take the club, put a penny pincher in charge thus restricting my losses for the rest of the year. Come the end of the year I could be £6/700k down with a bit of luck. I then take relegation and guess what, I then get a big parachute payment, pay off all my owings (even my own). Good times and the club can go hang. After all I only watch the Bulls twice a year when they play the Rhinos.
Of course I could be wrong. He might wake up, buy lots of players and try keep us in SL. Time will tell

Only problem with that scenario is parachute payment at end of year is only 250k so he'd still be well out of pocket.

Guess only thing we can do do is wait and see how things progress over next couple of weeks. Sound bites coming out of club today all seem positive but we've been here several times in last couple of years so not gonna get too excited until I see some actual investment.We need extra bodies fast or we'll be too far out of touch for it to make a difference.
Nagging doubt I have is that we're going to see a stage managed drop down to championship, with just enough loan players brought in to make us able to fulfil fixture list but with no real chance of actually getting out of bottom two.

Old saying hoping for the best but prepared for the worst seems apt.
