Everyone is getting jumpy at whether points are deducted when all should be delighted that Bulls are even still in existence.
The Winding Up petition presented by HMRC on 16.1.2014 was clearly the change that required the action taken.
I am reliably informed Bulls owe £600k not the wild off the mark £60k which on regular reported monthly wage bill figures quoted by both Gargoyle and the T & A to be about £200 to £220k a month.
If that includes employers Nic a figure of £60 grand a month must have been owing to HMRC.
Which has not been paid in many months as the club struggled to pay even its players towards the end of season.
This is not good and is as clear a demonstration as anyone should need that OK Bulls Ltd were trading insolvently over in all probability all the past 15 months.
Those are certainly the noises I here coming out of the place from informed sources.
The fact we have a former member of HM Government acting as a director in OK Bulls ltd where the Crown stand to lose such a vast sum if the new board and company fail to take that creditor forward with them would indeed be truly shocking.
But who cares if the counties bankrupt and as long as no points are deducted.
Money that helps maintain public services....few on here it would appear.
As if that's not bad enough the £200k loan from Bradford Council was similarly charged by way of Debenture on the Assets of OK Bulls Ltd.
Has the local taxpayer been shafted in favour of the Marc Green.
I do not wear all the Green loan came after Ok left. There is a corporate history of Whitcut acting as Stooge on behalf of OK.See Lister Mansion Hotel and many other corporate failures where the common thread has been liquidation or insolvency before any accounts are presented.
The whole affair looks as if it may be able to finally (from September nearly 5 months on)moved across.
My worry is the RFL whilst they will obviously do all they can to preserve a prestigious and historically important member will view the shennanigans as a bridge too far.The entire episode from them first granting them a three year license in October 2011 to having to take the ground just 3 months later ,to fans and others raising 500k just 3 months after that,to debts wiped approaching £2 million by August 2012, to debt free but £1.2 million debt just 15 months on at November 2013 with the national and local taxpayer shafted throughout this 2 and a half years and say
Enough is enough this is shambles we have heard it all before and it brings not only the game into disrepute but the RFL standing with government aswell.
Sutcliffe sat as parliamentary man with others on the select committee for the game at Westminster.
I fear the decision as to punishment of the Bulls will be dealt with over a cup of tea at a much higher level than Red Hall.
It is my opinion that Sutcliffe has no place to go and no place to hide.
Which is why adey is so correct.
It almost as if he does not want to admit (by speaking)that it was anything to do with him.
I can advise the fans that forces are at work as we speak that will ensure he is taken to account for what has happened.
He knew what the players contracts wee than had to be taken on from the administrater. He knew the level of income required not to build up such a debt. You either cut costs (as the new lot have declared to) or you find the income. He did neither.
Nor Khan nor Whitcut.
Indeed they added to the woe with loss making (£100k the 80"s pop concert and it only got a safety certificate to allow it to go ahead an hour prior...great management that eh)non Rugby events.
It can only be hoped that they survive.
We are hearing more of the same. Now the debt is reduced no player sales.Still at least one on £100k.The other 2 taken from Gargoyle now thankfully off the budget and payroll.
What worries me is all my professional associates can find no company associated with these new 3.
Are we in for more of the same with the ring fenced talk of players.
And what also worries is have the Bradford public simply had enough and can stomach no more. You would have expected more than 2000 there yesterday to back the new board if people truly believed and Belonged.
They say January is the month all the divorce proceedings start.
I hope these 3 Amigos and robbie have solid as a rock marriages.
Cos you can bet your bottom dollar they wont be by next January.
Its been an interesting winter.
I think there are many more .."twists in the tail" to come.
The Eleventh Earl of Mars may even make a comeback.
Lets hope Big Nigel pulls another White Rabbitt out of the bag again.
And makes sense out of a lot of nonsense.
That I'm struggling to find moral compass with.
Reach for Lord Denning and how the man on the Clapham omnibus would view things.
And they are not passionate red amber and black blooded vein people.
Indeed they are rarely Rugby people at all.
The circus has been a farce.Conducted without dignity.
That may well prove to be more significant than who took the step for quick in and out of admin Adey.
I think that will prove largely irrelavent when there is also a local taxpayer debenture holder Bradford Council funnily enough secured through a man called Green.
Twist in the Tail.
