Erm, you could try the "it's all fresh ingredients" angle.

Perhaps ask for less oil to be used in the cooking when they take your order, it's what Mrs Bullseye does.

I've tried the fresh ingredients type pitch. It didn't work.

I couldn't ask for less oil or I'd think I wasn't getting the proper food and it wouldn't taste as good. I couldn't do that and feel I'd given them a proper go

I'm currently aiming at the "we can do it for a special occasion" angle. But finding that occasion is becoming difficult since there aren't any for quite a few months!

That one works for me. Curries are fattening and too hot. Oil carries the spices, so use less oil and you have less heat.

It's rubbish, obviously, but it has enough superficial logic about it to enable those who want to be talked into it to go for a cuzza.

Very nice trip to Karachi last Thursday - I was stuffed.

Now for today's dilema: Omars, Karachi or the Punjab. Its a nice problem to have.

Rather unbelievably, that worked!!

And I really aren't joking here. When I told her we could go for your birthday, she laughed and said ok then. So we went last night.

Tried the infamous chapple kebabs and they are bloody nice. Her Chicken Pakora was nice too, although I must admit, I've had better of that.

As far as the curry goes, I tried a medium strength Keema Mushroom, and must admit, I was very pleasantly surprised. I wasn't sure if I was expecting it to be too good, but it was bloody lovely.

Definitely a good recommendation!

As yet, no backlash. I think I can feel something brewing, and if it is coming, I'm hoping it does so before I set off to Hull! If it hasn't come by then, I wouldn't sit anywhere near me at the match today...
