You have enough truble getting thousands of your own supporters to your own ground maybe you should worry about that before talking about our away support?

No no, give them credit. They do have away games where they get to see what a decent crowd resembles.

Used to be packed out at Fartown in 60's mate then a few went glory hunting when hit hardtimes, you ought to do a survey at the Dulls to see how many of you fans used to follow Fartown, you may be suprised!!!!!!!!

Then do a survey at Leeds to see how many people there are who used to follow us 2000 -2006 ish.



Fans jump ships, it happens in every sport, at every club.



Although there's still not many jumping on the Giants ship, even though you are now a 'big club'

No-one says you can't but some want to win the crowd contest more than they do the real contest, maybe they just don't believe there team has it in em!!!

I don't think there's many who would rather win the crowd one than the SL title.



Having a good crowd behind your team will really help in the big matches though! So it could be more improtant to success than you think.

If been better than Bradford puts you in big club status then yes we are, me myself prefer to win sommert before we become big club, once thus happens the glory hunters will come crawling back but even if they do the crowd comp will never interest me

Don't doubt having a big crowd doesn't help, Huddersfield is now a football town unlike Bradford where the football team come second, we will not see the gates we used to in the 60's but we can live with it, sure like I say if we win owt some will come crawling back but I like to see a successful team not successful crowd!!! We took thousands to Wembley in 2009 for the challenge cup, where did all them come from?

But being a big club requires more than having a decent team.



If you'd prefer to win something before being a big club, you may be waiting a while. Not saying you don't have a good team - you're certainly top 4 quality. But imo Wigan & Wire have better squads than you, and in the big games the experience of Sts & Leeds will shine through too.



You say the crowd comp will never interest you. Surely it should interest every fan. You want your club to be as well supported as possible. You need crowds to generate income. Sugar Daddy's will not stand by forever, and their moneypot is not endless.







The 'fans' that go to GF's and CC finals dont count as proper one's

There is a difference between wanting to be well supported and it being the be all and end all, which it seems to be of some of the clubs who, shall we say, are struggling on the playing front ala Bradford and Wakey who for the last few seasons have only had the crowds to get at us with!!!
