Not like us - we've got a major telecoms company - O2 - on ours. Although, to be more accurate, it is O2 Leigh - i.e. a local O2 shop!!

Yep. We had a to build a large squad very quickly last year and inevitably didn't use some of our overseas/non-fed spots in the best way. Lets hope we don't look to Mackay Cutters for a new half back (or any other player for that matter).

Did Siejka take up a non-fed spot as well?

It was only a few weeks ago they were saying that Kirk Welham wasn't on the radar - now we are told that Ferres and Lowes were chasing him for ages!

I wouldn't place too much stock on these 'rumours' in the T&A

yep. dont think he took a overseas spot but he did count as non fed trained.

think as it stands our quota spots are as follows

Cheers for that, I always lose track of who counts under which quota. It'll be interesting to see how the squad finishes up.

Can't see Etu getting much game time in the current squad. Suspect he's one they'd like to move on if possible.

I did say that he and Ulugia were the players most likely to be moved on. In fact, I think all players who went on loan last year have moved on to new clubs apart from Etu. Given the depth we've got in the wings and centres, I have to agree that I don't see him getting much game time unless there's a large injury crisis.

those were the days, when we had the, then world's biggest, computer manufacturer [Compaq] on our shirts. Haha, the ups and downs of life, eh!

We used to have a novel idea of getting 17 local companies to sponsor shirts 1-17, (before the days of squad numbers) then one of those numbers was drawn out of a hat (flat cap?) and they became the major shirt sponsor.

So far, so good, but the first year the chairman's company was drawn out as major shirt sponsor! Mm
