It's a complex sale process, a rugby club from the administrator, a leasehold from the RFL, the offer to balance against liabilities and creditors to satisfy, and everyone's off - administrator is completing due diligence and something should break soon.
Terms are done, just awaiting acceptance from what I hear.
As for the rumour of the buyer, I couldn't comment publicly but I know initially the offer was an act of true altruism, which grew into making a lot of sense all round over the days and weeks, with the buyers eyes being opened to the Bulls heritage and potential to be linked with a positive winning brand alongside a massive development opportunity on the existing and surrounding site.
I've chilled out over Christmas knowing the little I do, I maintain that we definitely have a bright future, but the points deduction could mean it's a long road back.
