But hes just a kid who may or may not make it, he`s just some bit part player we picked up from some club to try and fill a gap.

Big joe was in the prime of his career, a player who if asked could do 80 mins, or even move into second row with his agility.

The whole thing was sarcy, the poster said we havent replaced joe, m.e. said apart from scruton... who is a very good player, from a very good team, who can play 80 mins, unlike joe, whos got good agility, unlike joe, whos got his career in front of him, unlike joe, and is more than an adequate replacement.

You have a great pack, decent half-backs but a relatively poor back 5. But maybe that's the best way to make use of the salary cap? - time will tell throughout the season.

I certainly believe my team (Hull KR) and Catalans are the most underated squads in terms of final league placings (Dave Hadfield apart ) and I expect us to win at Odsal next week based on the fact we've had more pre-season matches and your game being called off today.

Same as Bird I suppose, as for Scruton, cant see Leeds letting him come to their rivals if he all that brill? wasn't 1st choice prop if I remember rightly? think that was Leulei and Peacock?

suppose we'll kinow more after the 1st few rounds of SL.

Think you might be suprised by Huddersfield this season 10th-11th seems a little low to me.

Obviously scruton isnt as good as peacock and leulai so had to settle for a bench spot, doesnt mean hes average, just means he not as good.
If we decided to change it one week and put sam on bench for scruton does that mean that sams not as good as scruton?
If giants signed scruton he`d start, suppose he`d be best in world then tho.

If Giants signed Scruton he'd be 4th or 5th best prop so wouldn't start but we getting off topic here and wouldn't want any more posts removed
