Bulls have stiuggled this season in transition with a poorer squad than previous seasons, But whats your excuse? P*ss poor from the great team of last year. Mclemmon is taking you down, get rid of him.
Your poor following at Grattan showed no confidence in your team and was well deserved by the result.
Rather than glorying over the Bulls current poor record you should look at your own abysmal decline from last year's quality. GET RID OF McLEMMON and start to play the way you used to do.
Yeah you might beat the Bulls this weekend but that wont cover over the cracks that you are a million miles awy from St Helens atm and down the drain fron last year

Dude, they are second in the league and current super league champions. Hardly miles away from Saints, only 4 points. McLennans is doing nothing wrong at Leeds, by their standing in the league and their status as champions then I would say he is doing just fine.

Respect your comments. But please understand my thoughts. I agree that Leeds are the current Champions (last year) and are currently second in the league (no mean feat) but they are a shadow of their performances of last season when they took the title. McLemmon has no call on past glories, he has to match them and so far is not doing so. Of course they are doing better that the Bulls but imo are failing by their own standards. There is not the flair of previous seasons and too many penalties being given away.
As you say only 4 points behind St Helens but I would reiterate a million miles behind them in evey aspect of playing standards.

But it isn't the same team. We've lost Ellis, Scruton, Toopi and Tansey from 2008 and only brought in Buderus.

Ill be the first admit our current season as been somewhat disappointing. But in the odd game Leeds have played some fantastic Rugby League - Just like last week for example....

I believe our only problem is in the Pack. With losing Ellis and Scruton and not replacing either of them its left a bit of a gap. Last Saturday Quins let the Rhinos pack get on top and the backs simply did the stuff they are capable of. If the pack can lift and continue to do that for the rest of the year then Leeds will be back to their best. Were only 1 or 2 quality forwards away from St Helens.

It has been hard for GH. There has been many factors as to why we have 3 players less than last term. Eastwood was a situation where you can only hold tight on. There was no need to hit the panic button and instantly sign another player - After all we are in a recession and have to find £2 Million to build a new southstand, which was very unexpected.

I agree but their failure yet again to compete on both the challenge cup and Super league fronts at the same time show that whilst good they are unable to push into the next level I call glorious. Like Saints of 2006 and Bulls of 2003 those teams will be remembered for years to come Leeds 2008 doesn't quite have the same ring to it. Plus they failed to win the World Club Challenge as well.

Certainly not worth sacking the coach but no real progress on the last regime. I suppose it's a bit like driving a suped up Honda. It's a good car and could beat everything else at the traffic lights but it's never going to be a ferrari!

Although we seem to be getting a few miles out of our old Rover at Odsal!

Not really: look at our league position :)

If Eastwood had materialised we'd be fine in the forwards - probably a bit lightweight right now, especially if Peacock is off the field, but we coped against Huddersfield with him missing - just about.

Lee Smith seems to be doing OK in the right centre position, and we also have Gibson and Watkins to cover centre. Dunno what is happening here longer-term with Senior retiring, Smith leaving and Coady signing. We may need to sign another experienced centre to tide us over for a year or two before the younger players can prove they are ready to step up.

Tansey was never really a first choice player, and Scruton's departure means more game time for the likes of Kirke and Burgess (who have been inconsistent so far).

To add to that Webb's injury really messed all the plans up. Smith had to go to FB which meant Watkins, Ablett and Gibson were always been switched about causing a bit of uncertainty in the side...

Now Webb is well and truly back to his best, Smith looking better every week at Centre and Carl Ablett also getting settled in his natural position. The team can only go forward from here...depending everyone starts injury free (touch wood).

Rinaldi - Not a break, but still doubtful-

If he doesn't get an extension and he doesn't play this game, we will not see the fantastic frenchman in a Bulls shirt again.
