Jimi got praised when he died...still not a patch on Jackson for talent. Good guitarist but average songwriter.

The reason MJ sold so many albums was because he is bloody good. As far as pop music goes he was the best.

I've no real gripe against Jacko he was the prince of POP, but to say Hendrix isn't a patch on Jacko in terms of talent is........well, I think your'e hurting real bad inside dude.

Why? Hendrix was a genius guitarist but a crap singer and average songwriter.

Personally I feel Jackson had a few more strings to his bow.
