I agree. He's had the same 'next big thing' tag at Wigan and Hull too. I don't think that anyone would welcome him back other than possibly Cas. Just never hit his potential.

It's just not the salary that's the issue it's the fact that he takes up an overseas place.

But didn't he recently sign a new three year deal?

Macca obviously rates him so we'll be stuck with him and Platt for a while yet.

It's not that daft he's entering the latter stages of his career is probably sick to the back teeth with his injuries. He seems settled in the area and a move to a part time club would allow him to continue playing and concentrate on his numerous business activities.
