I feel that the club would have known that Nobby would step in and help. He's got some time on his hands to do it, and I am sure that Bradford is one club he feels that he is obliged to help because of his roots and his past success.Whether this manifested itself before MOnday is debatable. But one things for sure, if we want an honest, hardworking coach whose heart is at Bradford and has a proven record of success, and the respect of many people within the game, then there are few to rival Brian. And if he's going to come in for free, Wonderful!
I have always found Nobby to seldom be afraid of expressing himself honestly, and with integrity. If he had been approached prior to MOnday, he would have said. Remember, Nobby and Mick go back quite a long way. there's plenty of respect and friendship. The whole Franny thing is understandable too! If he's coming in with a game at the weekend, he needs somebody who knows the players very well to help him. Can see why he did that.
None of us like the way that the staff were delat with on Monday. Not one bit! But look forward. Withy Nobby and Tasker working without pay in the short term, we could be a lot worse off!
