Yeah, got that impression from him at the sponsors quiz night. Nice guy, really hope we can keep him.

The rest can go for me, even Mitch Clark. Had stormer of a first half of season although think he's been poor since coming back from injury. He has aspirations above championship, but not ready IMO. Needed another year at least and if he's ready to jump ship after just one year then he can go for me.

Different story with Fergz.

I'm glad I'm not the only one to have noticed this. Before the injury, he was outstanding. Since coming back, he's done next to nothing. Yeah he's solid enough, but nowhere near the player we all raved about. Sure that could be down to not being fit, or it could be down to not being motivated due to being in the tin pot competition. But nevertheless, he's been a shadow of what he was earlier in the season.

I think Ross is pretty clear in today's T&A that all of them, including Ferguson, are definitely leaving. In fact it clearly says that Fergy 'has left' i.e. Past tense

Depends if he was given permission. If a player is allowed by the club to speak to someone, they can do it whenever they like. If him and Lowes didn't see eye to eye, there's every chance Jimmy would have let him speak to whoever he liked.

Yeah, I know that - it's just that Hudds have 'form' for things like that. At least he did it properly and saw his contract through and didn't just not bother turning up for the coach on an away game...

ant tamper deadline was changed a couple of years back it isnt september anymore, more like may now IIRC.
