It comes back to the point made some weeks ago about the sustainability of making the club continue in the championship. We’ll soon find out the extent of the owners ambition. Nobody is really going to want to see a succession of hidings. Now I can sympathise with the viewpoint that we need to get behind the young lads and I will be doing. However you can’t sell season tickets on that basis. Nobody ever sold much by making you feel guilty.
As far as the money situation is concerned you can tell neither owner is wealthy by looking at their business history. The money if there is any would have to come from elsewhere. I suspect that source is covered in the thread about the lease.
As someone else said before we are where we are, I've been to both games and we have played with a lot of heart and really wanted to go at it.
I have a season ticket so am right behind who ever turns out if they put the effort in you cant knock them.
I don't know how Cha-Lowe are going to make it work as a business unless they at least show a bit of willing?
Toovey if indeed he is in it for the long haul will get the best out of whatever we have, but I don't think he is good enough to turn the u19's squad into a championship surviving side, that plays a marketable brand of football.
Again I may be wrong?
