He's had his teeth done apparently and has retired.

With regards to player signings I think if there is a couple of positive announcements this week e.g Joseph, Foster, Chissy (very optimistic) and anyone else we can scrape together, it will help a great deal with selling the newly launched season tickets..

Speculating to accumulate I think they call it? 1 year deals fro free agents at the start of the season may not quite break the bank?
With option of 2nd year on performance and league position,

I expect that Foster and Joseph have been doing some hard negotiating which is fair enough. If they sign it’s a much needed boost.

I don’t expect Chisholm to sign after he went public over how he was treated.

As far as speculating to accumulate is concerned I don’t think that will happen. We’re on life support at the moment. There’s no money to speculate with and nobody who’ll lend us any. Even if we had pots of it nobody will be letting anyone decent go on the eve of the season.

The best we can hope for are some decent quality players on loan.

As far as season tickets are concerned I’m holding off to see whether I want to put myself though it week in and week out. A season of stuffings isn’t my idea of fun and I stopped feeling obliged to go after Admin 3.

To be honest nobody knows exactly what is in the pot with regards to cash? we presume there isn't any and more than likely will be proved right.

However as you say nobody will purchase a ticket for a season of stuffings, so there needs to be a show of commitment from Lowe and Chalmers otherwise nobody will buy into the new club, they'll just go to the boozer on a Sunday instead.

If they do genuinely want to create a successful Rugby League club they are going to have to invest or it simply will not work.

I think this season we will go with a skeleton squad. Propped up by a few loans. And you know what I am happy with that if it means we save money and see where we are at the end of the 23 game regular season. Then maybe if we are in a position to stay up then, then reinforce the team to stay up.

It comes back to the point made some weeks ago about the sustainability of making the club continue in the championship. We’ll soon find out the extent of the owners ambition. Nobody is really going to want to see a succession of hidings. Now I can sympathise with the viewpoint that we need to get behind the young lads and I will be doing. However you can’t sell season tickets on that basis. Nobody ever sold much by making you feel guilty.

As far as the money situation is concerned you can tell neither owner is wealthy by looking at their business history. The money if there is any would have to come from elsewhere. I suspect that source is covered in the thread about the lease.

As someone else said before we are where we are, I've been to both games and we have played with a lot of heart and really wanted to go at it.
I have a season ticket so am right behind who ever turns out if they put the effort in you cant knock them.

I don't know how Cha-Lowe are going to make it work as a business unless they at least show a bit of willing?
Toovey if indeed he is in it for the long haul will get the best out of whatever we have, but I don't think he is good enough to turn the u19's squad into a championship surviving side, that plays a marketable brand of football.

Again I may be wrong?

Are Sheffield paying him to be fulltime?
