KP back at centre? Please God no! Defensive joke. On the wing he's bad enough! He scores a few but doesn't really matter when he concedes twice as many.
Looks like a split decision on the K Pryce front then . . . although if you read the Warriors board / do a search for KP, there are a large number of "interesting" reads to be found . . . . depending on your own point of view, of course
As for the "And, for what it's worth, anyone slating Karl Pryce is bang out of order" Chill. It's all just opinion . . . . . and anyone slating anyone for slating KP is, IMHO, bang out of order
I do recall him doing the longest goal line drop I've ever seen in thirty odd years or so of watching the Bulls/Northern. Can't recall who we were playing . . . but he kicked the ball from under the sticks at thr Rooley Lane end and it landed just before twenty five yard line . . . and then rolled a bit. Truely awesome kick. <see I don't dislike him - I just don't believe he is the answer>
I believe that was against Huddersfield and we scored a try from it.
Suspect you may be right - I think I am getting mixed up with another game at Headingley - the one where Ferres scored that late try.
Must have been 2006? In which case, the sodding match report is erroring on the Bulls site so can't put my mind at rest...
Speaking of Ferres, and then by connection ones that got away, must admit that what DOES make me angry is reading things like this. Doubtless money was the issue at the time, but it is depressing reading nevertheless?

I agree Adey
It would interesting to know just how much extra money it would have taken to retain Wardle. We're under the cap, and have spent cap money on players that are basically not up to the job, so I feel sure we could have found extra.
Hindsight is wonderful, of course, but it seems obvious to me that Wardle would have played most games this season and would be the centre around which we'd now be building our backline. Instead we've had Whitehead (a second rower) and Ah Van (a winger) and Platt (a converted full back).....

remember we gave wakefield ferres and 100 grand for solomona
wonder who authorised that little gem of a deal
Yeah, know what you mean. Solo is the kind of player that makes RL such a brilliant game to watch, but he just wasn't the grafter we really needed at the time.
