Northern Lad: don't tell me what to do please? If my posts bore you, don't read them - no-one is forcing you to.
But anyway, you seem to be missing the point I am making: I am not taking issue at all with ME's arguments per se, and definitely not with his right to express his views. I might even share some of his opinions, and I certainly share his concerns. If you read some of my other posts you will see that.
What I AM taking issue with is his incessant unceasing criticism - and seeming delight at being able to dive in at every opportunity to show how right and how clever he was - whilst failing to put forward constructive and realistic alternatives. And then his re-writing of history when caught out, and his resorting to personal insults when caught out further and he's backed himself into a corner.
And you will anyway see ME yet again trying to twist the argument AGAIN in the post three posts before yours. Note how is is attributing to me a "relentless defence" of the coach? Where would that be? Not on this thread and not anywhere very recent. All he is doing is trying to turn (yet again) what the debate was actually about (in this case ME's seeming inability to improve on the not-particularly-satisfactory comments from Macca) into some other issue (the same one as usual) of his own choosing.
For the avoidance of doubt - I exposed ME's seeming inability to do anything other than criticise and complain, irrefutably, so he resorted to personal attacks and downright untruths to try and detract from his own failure. Again.
The difference between you and ME is that you put forward sensible reasoned CONSTRUCTIVE proposals and comments, and take care to reasonably distinguish between fact and opinion (and btw I agree with most of what you said too) whereas he just criticises. If ME followed your approach, its very unlikely any of this arguing would be happening.
